Tivoli Fest - 2010

Tivoli Fest, Elk Horn's annual Danish celebration, is held Memorial Day weekend. Enjoy Danish foods and specialties such as Smørrebrød, Æbleskiver and medisterpølse. Tours of the Danish Windmill, Bedstemor's Hus, the Danish Immigrant Museum and visits to unique gift shops add to the experience.

The second annual Tour de Tivoli Bike Ride is just around the corner! This year, to help Elk Horn celebrate its 100th year, you can ride up to 100 miles – either metric-style (62 miles) or standard-style (100 miles). The 26-mile Livestrong Loop is a returning favorite as well.
There are lots of hills and beautiful countryside to enjoy, plus wind turbines and several small towns including the antique “City” of Walnut. The ride will also pass through Prairie Rose State Park. Click here for the registration form.

Contestant forms are available for the Best Decorated Human-powered Vehicle Contest, a Beard and Moustache Contest, and a Bonnet Decorating Contest. Sign-up and join in the fun.

JuleFest is held annually Thanksgiving weekend. The fun-filled Christmas festival features over 25 local businesses, organizations, historical sites and museums ready to help you get into the full swing of the holidays.
